About
Formed in 2018 in Charleroi, The WRS is a garage/psych power trio with raw energy, fueled by fuzzy guitars, a DIY spirit, and a clear taste for sonic trances. After a first live LP in 2020 and a more accomplished second album (Capicúa, 2022), the band has steadily made its mark on the European psych scene, supported by labels such as Rockerill Records, Le Cèpe Records, Gazer Tapes, and Salty Dog Records (Australia). In October 2025, The WRS returns with their third studio album, denser and bolder than ever. The record ventures into new sonic territories, blending their visceral fuzz with krautrock influences – repetitive rhythms, hypnotic layers, and progressive structures. With this deliberate shift, The WRS ushers in a new era, remaining true to their psychedelic roots while exploring more cosmic horizons.
